Supporting Teens, Young Adults & Adults

Here to Support You Every Step of the Way

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming—especially when anxiety, depression, or uncertainty make it difficult to reach out for support. Many individuals struggling with their mental health hesitate to seek help because they feel stuck, unsure of where to begin, or question whether therapy will truly help. Sloane understands how challenging this can be and provides a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can begin at their own pace.
Sloane works with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, grief, personality disorders, and self-esteem concerns. She believes that feeling safe and comfortable in therapy is essential, and she prioritizes creating an environment where clients feel heard, understood, supported, and empowered.
Her approach is client-centered and strength-based, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), trauma-informed therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Sloane works collaboratively with clients to build insight, strengthen coping skills, improve self-esteem, and support meaningful, lasting change. She tailors therapy to each individual’s unique needs, experiences, and goals while helping clients develop greater emotional balance, confidence, and resilience.
She has a strong focus on emotional regulation, impulsive behaviors, and parent–teen dynamics. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Sloane helps clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthier coping strategies, improving decision-making, and building greater emotional resilience and self-awareness.
With experience across multiple levels of care—including serving as a Clinical Director in residential treatment settings, providing therapy within an elementary school setting, and working in outpatient and private practice environments—Sloane brings a diverse and well-rounded clinical perspective. She has worked with individuals experiencing psychotic disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, substance use issues, personality disorders, and complex family dynamics. She also has a strong foundation in understanding the ways relationships and family systems shape emotional well-being.
Her experience allows her to meet clients where they are, whether they are navigating acute challenges, life transitions, or working toward longer-term personal growth and stability. Sloane’s goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to better understand themselves, build confidence, and move forward with greater clarity and emotional balance.
