Here to Support You Every Step of the Way
Many individuals and families feel overwhelmed when starting therapy and unsure where to begin. They may question whether therapy will help, feel pressure to already “have it together,” or struggle to see a clear path forward. That uncertainty can make taking the first step feel heavy and intimidating.I take a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy, meeting each person exactly where they are. I tailor the therapeutic process to each client’s individual needs and experiences, while honoring the pace that feels right for them. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel understood, respected, and supported as whole people. My goal is to create a compassionate and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to build insight, emotional regulation skills, and a stronger connection with themselves and others.
Experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lynn University. I have provided individual therapy in a dual diagnosis treatment setting, working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring substance use disorders. My work includes crisis intervention, behavioral interventions, and trauma-informed care with individuals experiencing acute emotional and psychological distress.Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the art world teaching and consulting. This background continues to inform my use of creative and expressive approaches in therapy, particularly with children and individuals who benefit from experiential and nonverbal ways of processing emotions.
